Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-05-07
These are starting terms intended to be reviewed and finalized by qualified counsel before commercial launch. They reflect current ForgedLift practices but are not legal advice.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of https://forgedlift.vercel.app and the services offered by ForgedLift Garage Doors(“ForgedLift”). By using the site or our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Consultations and quotes
ForgedLift quotes every project after a free consultation. Any estimates we share are valid only at the locations and for the standard sizes and finishes listed. Final pricing depends on inventory, installation conditions at your home, and any custom specifications. ForgedLift confirms the final price in writing before any work begins.
3. Scheduling and same-day install
Same-day install is offered when (a) the door, finish, and size you order is in stock at the nearest hub, and (b) our calendar permits. ForgedLift makes a reasonable effort to meet promised arrival windows but is not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, utility outages, or unforeseen on-site conditions.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless prearranged through one of our financing partners (Synchrony, Hearth). We accept major credit cards, ACH, and approved financing. Past-due amounts accrue interest at the lower of 1.5% per month or the maximum permitted by law.
5. Warranty
ForgedLift offers a lifetime warranty on torsion springs that we install — replacement parts are free for as long as you own the home where the spring was installed. Doors and openers carry their respective manufacturer warranties (typically 5 years on the door, 10 years on insulation, 5–10 years on opener motors). Service work is warranted for 90 days. Warranty claims must be reported by the original purchaser; ForgedLift retains the right to inspect any failed part before replacement.
6. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for clear and safe access to the garage opening, removal of personal items from the install area, accurate measurements you provide before our visit, and accurate disclosure of any structural or electrical issues at the work site.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgedLift’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the services or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. ForgedLift is not liable for consequential, indirect, incidental, or punitive damages.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Quote requests can be cancelled at any time before installation begins. Custom-ordered doors (wood, full-view aluminum, custom carriage) require a non-refundable deposit because the door is built to your specification. Standard stocked doors can be cancelled up to 24 hours before scheduled install.
9. Dispute resolution
We’ll always try to resolve disputes informally first. Any unresolved dispute will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by emailing legal@forgedlift.com within 30 days of your first service.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where local law of the service state requires otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on this page. Continued use of our services after any change constitutes acceptance.
